We have developed three Capacity Factor (CFs) databases for Spain, specifically for solar PV (SHIRENDA_PV), wind (SHIRENDA_WIND) and hydropower (SHIRENDA_HYDRO) generation. These CFs are available for each province of Spain, with hourly resolution, from 1990 to 2020. The databases have been created based on meteorological data, real generation and installed capacity data (among others), using machine learning models.
